SSC is an all-volunteer company that aims to produce professional-quality productions of Shakespeare’s works. Some of our past company members are now pursuing a professional career in theatre in other countries, and one of our core purposes is to provide an opportunity for English-speaking theatre people living in Korea to continue to develop their craft while also contributing positively to Korean society.

Actors: We hold open auditions for our spring mainstage shows around early December, and all are welcome to audition. When auditions are approaching, we make announcements on this page, on our Facebook page, and on our Instagram account.

If you're inexperienced in theatre but are well-organized, punctual, a good communicator, and passionate about involvement in theatre, then being an assistant stage manager (ASM) or a subtitle operator are both good ways to start. Email us at info@seoulshakespeare.com to let us know your interest!
